Better to buy tickets online (you skip sometimes a really long queue). We also used their free audio guide. And don’t forget to bring good shoes, it can be slippery.
A note left hereThe Acropolis is an incredible historical site and definitely worth visiting at least once. The views over Athens are breathtaking and amazing.
However, it gets extremely crowded, especially during the day. If possible, visit early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the largest crowds and enjoy the experience more.

-You can get discount tickets for children under 18yrs using the official website. Just ‘add category’ on the official site to select child’s ticket.
-We arrived to buy our tickets from the ticket office as I was unsure my 18yr old qualified for the discount ticket. We arrived at 11:20 and were told there were no tickets until 2pm. There were many tour guides offering instant access if you took a tour with them. I decided…
