There is also a guard changing performance in 10:00 AM and one in the afternoon, and it was excellent. The grounds are spacious and walkable, and the buildings are full of decorations. There are also a few museums nearby worth visiting too.
A note left hereGyeongbokgung Palace is definitely one of the must-visit places in Seoul. The palace is much bigger than I expected, with many halls, courtyards, gardens, and beautiful traditional architecture to explore. The mountain backdrop also makes the whole place feel even more impressive.

The palace grounds were fascinating and the site has been preserved beautifully.
I would recommend going earlier in the morning because the crowds fill up quickly. We arrived at 9.30 and by 11 there was a lot more people.
It is a must do and I would also suggest to explore surrounding areas. This whole area is incredible ❤️
