A note left hereSuch a busy place, street performers, fresh juice makers and and fast food stalls, henna painters.....there must be a place like this in every country everyone could relate to....for me Covent Garden in London, UK....but 100 times busier. Very entertaining, market stalls shop keepers (clothes, shoes, bags, souvenirs,tea, herbs, spices etc etc) ...its nice, with majority of shop owners taking th time to educate on natural ingredients and their uses for health and well being.
A note left hereA bustling square filled with treats for all 5 senses. No matter what time of the day or night you visit you will not be disappointed. From food stalls, to music groups, games to tattoo artists, juice stalls to snake charmers, not to mention shops, stalls and cafes, there is just so much going on. Plenty of people around but overall felt very safe, especially on my 2nd or 3rd visit.
A note left hereUnderstanding the scale of this souq without visiting for yourself is impossible.
The different areas and variety of shops is immense.
You can find just about everything you’d need here. It is definitely an excellent idea to visit to see the craftsmanship of these people. It’s is truly amazing to see what they create.
Some shop attendants tried to get you to buy but no one was pushy. There was no pressure to buy anything.
It’s definitely an interesting spot to visit.
