A note left hereThe Leaning Tower of Pisa was a really beautiful place to visit and definitely worth seeing. Seeing the tower in person is quite impressive, and the whole area around it is very nice to walk around and enjoy.
Parking was actually much easier than we expected. There are plenty of parking options nearby, and from there it was easy to walk to the tower. Around the area, there are also lots of places to buy souvenirs, drinks, and other things.
One very important warning: be careful with people …
A note left hereWorth a visit. Perhaps it's better to visit it during afternoon since all the touristic tours are there from the opening hours, and than they dissapear (at least that was the case when we visited).
We didn't climb the tower itself as there was a queue, but have entered the Cathedral to see all the works of art on its walls.
Be prepared for a lot of tourists, obviously but it's definately something one must include in one's itinerary.
