A note left hereThe Lincoln Memorial is one of those places you have to see in person. Definitely don’t skip the undercroft tour either, it was surprisingly interesting and gave us a whole new appreciation for the memorial. There was no wait for the tour which was even better. Highly recommend doing both!
A note left hereThis is a must visit when in Washington. It's definitely a sight to behold. Although the pool area leading up to the monument was undergoing renovation, so that was a bummer interms of the full view, but still a great view nonetheless. Walking up the steps is a bit of a hike, but again, well worth the view. The architecture is stunning. We went on a very sunny day, so it was very hot, but still enjoyable nonetheless.
A note left hereThe Lincoln Memorial is truly majestic and one of the most iconic landmarks in Washington, DC. The massive statue of Abraham Lincoln and the grand architecture make it an impressive sight. Standing there and looking out toward the Reflecting Pool adds to the experience. It’s a powerful and memorable place, definitely worth visiting when exploring the city.
