A note left hereWe visited on a weekday and, despite several student groups and other visitors, the crowd was still manageable. We made the trip fully aware that the two star attractions — the Jadeite Cabbage and the Meat-Shaped Stone — were on loan to the Southern Branch. A note left hereThis museum is amazing, and a must-see if you are visiting Taiwan!! I especially loved their mythical animals section and the jade meat and cabbage! They also sell the museum books in their store. There is a restaurant on the top floor, their braised pork with rice and tea are good. If you like pork feet/knuckle you should also get it there as it’s also amazing. I recommend planning a full day there if you want to look at all exhibits.

The museum houses an impressive collection of cultural and historical artifacts that provide valuable insight into Chinese history and heritage.
