My visit to Salar de Uyuni was visually unbelievable, but not as comfortable or easy as I expected.
The salt flats are massive in every direction, and the moment you step out onto them it feels like you’ve entered another world. The flat white surface stretches endlessly, and on a clear day the horizon almost disappears completely. When there’s a thin layer of water, the mirror effect is genuinely one of the most surreal sights I’ve ever seen.

A note left hereThe Uyuni Salt Flat is one of the most extraordinary landscapes I have ever seen. The sheer vastness of the white salt desert is overwhelming and makes you feel incredibly small.
